HOW WE’RE RESPONDING TO COVID-19

Our dentist in Bloomingdale and West Loop is taking the necessary precautions in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. Our services are deemed essential during this time and we are doing everything in our power to continue helping patients who need it!

Treating Dental Emergencies

While our office is temporarily closed for elective procedures, we are continuing to provide emergency services on a weekly basis. Closing our doors temporarily allows us to save more personal protection equipment (PPE) for hospital workers who are dealing with patients experiencing life-threatening illnesses.
Examples of dental emergencies include a severely cracked tooth, a dislodged tooth, trauma from an accident, severe swelling or bleeding, gum or pulpal abscesses, or a severe infection. If you have specific questions about what constitutes a dental emergency, feel free to call our office and we can provide you with more information.

Sterilizing Our Office

Nothing is more important than the safety of our staff, our patients and our community. While dental offices do produce aerosols, we utilize tools such as a negative pressure evacuation system that reduce aerosols by 90 percent. To help reduce the risk of infection, we are using medical-grade wipes to sanitize all surfaces after an appointment. We are also utilizing tools and reducing aerosols by utilizing dry shields and air filtration units. There are barriers on all surfaces and we thoroughly sterilize equipment between appointments. We use steam under pressure, dry heat, or heat and chemical vapor to properly clean the instruments.
Remember, dentists are local businesses, too! You can help us by referring friends and family to our practice and scheduling appointments once we are open again. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
