During your first visit to our dental office, you will be greeted by our friendly team. If you are a new patient seeing us for the first time, you will receive a welcome gift and a tour of our dental office. Your first reservation with us will take about one hour. During your exam, you will receive a thorough dental examination that includes x-rays and comprehensive risk assessments. Our team will develop a personalized dental care plan based on your immediate needs, current dental health, and long-term oral health goals. This individual plan will include recommendations for cleanings, restorations, and preventive treatments. Most patients will receive a cleaning on their first visit as well.

During business hours, you will be seen immediately, or we will work you into our schedule for the day. If your dental emergency occurs after our dental office is closed, please call our dental office. Typically, patients can be seen by Dr. Patel for a dental emergency within 24 hours for emergencies during regular dental office hours.

Frequent cleanings are important for proper oral health! Dental cleanings get the tough tartar and plaque that you may not be able to remove by brushing or flossing yourself. Cleanings are also part of checkups, which are necessary to avoid dental health problems down the road. Those at risk of gum disease should probably get cleanings more often–even as often as every three months or so. The frequency at which you visit your dentist comes down to your unique dental needs.

Diagnosing and treating urgent matters that pose immediate threats to oral health is the first priority. After that, we value the prevention of disease, promotion of wellness, and maintaining good overall oral health. By being proactive, you can ensure that major restorative work is successful down the line. Once proper oral health is achieved and structures are orally stabilized, we can proceed with work that builds on this healthy foundation!

You can get your tooth-colored filling placed where you’d like, whether it’s in the back or front teeth.

Your specific medical profile should be taken into consideration for this question. It would be best to talk in person with Dr. Patel about your long-term treatment, as every patient is unique.

Patients are ultimately responsible for the balance due for treatment. Your insurance carrier has its own specific formulation determining what will be covered. To find out what services will be covered, contact your insurance company.

Although patients are financially responsible for their balances, we bill insurance companies as a courtesy to our patients. If you still owe a balance, you will need to contact your insurance carrier.

You will need to talk to our Practice Manager. You can call our dental office.
